    Position Summary

    Opportunity:

    Professionals in Crowe Horwath’s Valuation Services group provide public and large private clients with valuation consulting services.  Skilled professionals within this group provide their expertise to specific client needs in a wide variety of industries that demonstrate an impact on organizations that add value and improve financial statement reporting to regulators and reporting agencies, clients’ auditors, as well as tax and legal advisors.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Assisting in client prospecting activities
    • Preparing client proposals, data requests and engagement letters
    • Industry research
    • Data gathering and deep data analytics
    • Performing market based methodologies – guideline public company and guideline private transaction searches
    • Performing modeling and income based methodologies – running discounted cash flow analyses, calculating discount rates
    • Preparing written client report deliverables
    • Producing high quality work products that will be reviewed by our clients’ senior management team members, advising clients on valuation issues in financial reporting, tax and consultative settings
    • Interacting with client personnel and management
    • Playing key roles in assisting organizations in their pursuit of acquisitions and Initial Public Offerings
    • Getting involved in the community and developing strong relationships
    • Assisting in the development of thought leadership and knowledge sharing within the team and firm

    Qualifications

    • Accounting major
    • GPA of 3.0 or higher
    • Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis
    • Proficient with Excel
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities
    • Excel in individual and team projects
    • Available to work/travel evenings or weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday)
