    Position Summary


    Crowe’s Risk Consulting Practice is one of the firm’s five business units. Risk is aligned by competency centers including Business Risk, Regulatory Compliance Risk, and Technology Risk.


    Crowe’s Regulatory Consulting competency center can offer a unique opportunity that may differ from many of the traditional opportunities that you might encounter in the accounting field. Our regulatory compliance services largely focus in the areas of anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing, consumer compliance, and Dodd-Frank Act Testing, to name a few. Our offerings in those areas include consulting and advisory services, technology implementation and analytics, audit, independent testing and much more. We work with a variety of clients including some of the largest financial institutions in the world, with C-Suite level stakeholders. Our clients are based all across the country and sometimes internationally as well. This allows our team of consultants to work with a variety of clients in many geographic locations. We also still maintain a very close knit structure, so you will work very closely with partners and senior leadership throughout the practice.



    • Execution of assigned responsibilities under the direction of senior personnel
    • Gain technical expertise in regulatory compliance
    • Reviewing client’s compliance with key regulations and providing recommendations for improvement and remediation
    • Producing high quality work products that will be reviewed by our clients’ senior management team members, while advising clients on regulatory compliance issues
    • Provides deliverables that are reliable, accurate, complete and timely
    • Interacting with client personnel and management in a professional manner
    • Communicate clearly, providing informative and timely updates to appropriate parties
    • Assumes full ownership/responsibility for assigned responsibilities
    • Proactively seeks out increased responsibilities to provide value and excellent client service
    • Building positive relationships with Crowe personnel and clients
    • Identification of additional opportunities to add value to current client relationships
    • Developing strong relationships within the community

    Applicants should meet the following qualifications:

    • Outstanding academic performance in one of following preferred majors or similar background:
      • Accounting
      • Forensic Accounting
      • Finance
      • Economics
      • Engineering
      • Actuarial Science
      • Management Information Systems
      • Computer Science and Technology
    • Minimum 3.0 GPA (major and cumulative) required. 3.2 GPA (major and cumulative preferred.
    • Relevant work experience (g., internships, summer positions, school jobs)
    • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
    • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with professionals of all levels
    • Desire to sit for and obtain a firm supported certification (g., CPA, CIA, CRCM, CAMS, etc.) would be a plus, but not required
    • Willingness to travel up to 60% or more annually
