    We are the technical leaders of our firm that assist community, regional, national, and international clients assess and refine their information security posture, technology implementations, and regulatory compliance. Our clients are companies in most major industries, such as manufacturing, high-tech, financial services, banking, healthcare, transportation, government, entertainment, insurance, and higher education.


    Our team will help you will become an Information Security Specialist within your first couple of years. Starting from day one, you will be in the field working side by side with our security professionals and directly with our clients around the country! This is not a typical desk job. A number of our team members have also presented their research and tools developed at security conferences around the country.

    Desirable Pre-Requisite Knowledge and Skills:

    • Information Technology fundamentals, including:
      • Critical network services (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSH, SMB, and DNS), where they reside on the OSI model, and how they technically function to provide basic connectivity to a system
      • Routing and Switching
      • Traditional and Next-Gen Firewalls
      • System Administration (Windows & Active Directory and/or Linux/Unix)
      • Database Administration (Microsoft SQL, Oracle)
      • Web Application Frameworks (ASP.NET, JavaScript, PHP, Ruby)
    • Information Security standards and concepts, such as:
      • Risk Management
      • System and Application Hardening (Security Engineering)
      • Network Infrastructure Security
      • Access Management
      • Security Assessments and Penetration Testing
      • Security Operations
    • Technical Writing using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook)



    • This is a fast-paced environment with a high learning curve, so we provide many resources and on-the-job training opportunities – if you are willing to learn and build your areas of expertise, you will succeed
    • Candidates must:
      • Be willing to travel 50%-75% (2-3 weeks per month)
        • Our team travels mostly around the continental US (international travel possible)
        • Most travel consists of 3 or 4 overnights per week
      • Have a passion for Information Security and be willing to share your knowledge and lessons learned with the team and the security community
      • Have a desire to continue personal growth through continuing professional education, self-study, pursuit of technical certifications, and mentoring/training less experienced team members
      • Be capable of independently managing time and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
      • Be able to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences, such as company officers (CEOs, CIOs, CFOs, COOs) and Audit Committees



    We are seeking candidates completing undergrad or graduate degrees in one of the following preferred majors (or similar background):

    • Information Technology
    • Information Security, Assurance, and Forensics
    • Systems or Network Engineering and Administration
    • Computer Science or Software Engineering


    A minimum 3.0 GPA (major and cumulative) is required; 3.2 GPA (major and cumulative) is preferred. A focus on information and network security areas would be beneficial but is not required.
